The Officiating Rabbis

 

Rabbi Tyson Herberger – Chief Rabbi of Wroclaw and Lower Silesia since 2013. Raised in Michigan, he received a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Jewish Education from Hebrew College, Newton. He did his rabbinic studies under Rabbis Shlomo Ziskin and Zalman Nechemia Goldberg and was ordained as a rabbi in 2010. Before coming to Wroclaw, he served as a rabbi in Warsaw, Poland. He is partially supported by Shavei Israel.

 

 

Rabbi Michael Schudrich – Chief Rabbi of Poland since 2004. Born in New York, he served as Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Japan from 1983 to 1989. He began working in Poland in 1990 on behalf of the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation. Michael Schudrich holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Religious Studies and an M.A. in History from Columbia University; he did his rabbinic studies at Yeshiva University.
